HOBART 5212 MEAT SAW This meat saw is a used meat saw but is in working condition. The motor works perfectly and is a real monster!. The saw blade that is currently connected is a new blade and this machine also comes with a brand new (in package) saw blade. The belt is brand new as well. There are also brand new bolts, nuts, screws and parts on this machine. This saw was used sparingly at a restaurant and was used for less than an hour since I acquired it. The motor is a 3 phase motor that really can take a heavy workload. For me, it was absolute overkill. I am a hunter and for the few deer that I used the machine for, it is just not worth taking up the space. I did good enough with a few knives and a bone saw that fit into my drawer! The motor runs on a 220 volt line at 12.5 amps for continuous duty.. I looked at the plate on the motor and it reads: 115volt 25 amp (low voltage) 200/230 volt 12.5 amp. (high voltage) It is a great saw for any commercial use and strong enough to take the abuse (and LAUGH IT OFF!) if used for anything other than meat. This machine is worth several thousand dollars. I spent $2,600.00 on this machine, plus what I spent on the new blades & the box, breaker and wires for the electric. This is an American made machine and it will last FOREVER! The machine is made up of simple HEAVY DUTY parts that last and can take a beating. Parts may get worn after TONS of use, but can be replaced cheaply and keep this machine humming forever... I will sell it to the first person who offers me $2,150.00 or whatever offer is reasonable. I am a reasonable person! SHIPPING: This item is located in the metropolitan New York area and local pick up is preferred. I will pack it and ship it to wherever the buyer needs it at the BUYER'S COST. BUYER PAYS SHIPPING AND MUST MAKE ARRANGEMENTS. I will charge $100.00 for the crating and handling if buyer chooses to have this item shipped.
