Selling this donated item as a fund raising for the Apple Valley Model Railroad Club, in the Historic Southern RR Depot, in Hendersonville, NC.  See our website and the article in the Model Railroader Magazine March, 2015. The storage unit measures:  10 1/2 inches by 10 1/2 inches by 26 inches to the top of the central metal tube. The metal framing is of solid metal rod, the inserts are heavy duty card board that is removable and/or reversible for a backside that is white, the central tube is metal tubing, and the round base is a durable heavier duty vinyl plastic. All aspects of the storage unit are in good looking condition. Could be repainted with gloss or semigloss black spray paint to easily spruce up, OR painted a different color of your choice? The cardboard could be reversed to a white smooth cardboard surface for adding your own storage notes? I just realized that this unit could also be redesigned with shelves inside the unit, with a 1 1/4 inch hole drilled into the middle for the central pipe!! So the whole unit could be used with shelving that rotates, or with tool shelves and hanging tools on the wire frame, or a combination of both!! Could be very handy for quick and easy access to almost any hobby items, and only take up a 12 inch by 12 inch of workbench space!! We had no room or use for this unit in the shop at the train club. If I still had my own larger shop, I would have purchased it by donating to the shop!!!! Hoping to find a good home for this vintage display unit, instead of tossing it out or recycling the metal!!!!
