Hoefer Scientific PS 2500 High Voltage Power Supply Fully tested, works 100% perfectly. All displays are bright, all knobs and switches work smoothly. This was intended as a electrophoresis power supply, but it can also be used as a general purpose high-voltage bench power supply. My measurements show the voltage readings on the built-in display are about 6% high. However I'm including the manufacturer's manual, which includes the calibration procedure and full schematics (I have not calibrated this myself). Cosmetically very good (8/10, see photos). Specs from the manual: The Hoefer PS 2500 Power Supply will furnish power to Constant Voltage or Constant Power modes of operation. It will accurately supply 0-2500 volts, 0-300 mA or 0-375 watts. (It can be run at 0 - 2500 volts in combination with 150 mA or 0 - 1200 volts in combination with 300 mA.) In addition to these normal functions, the PS 2500 has a programmable automatic crossover feature that switches the unit from the Constant Current or Constant Power mode to Constant Voltage when a preset voltage is reached during a run. Constant Voltage 0 - 2500 VDC Constant Current 0 - 300 mA @ 1200 VDC 0 - 150 mA @ 2500 VDC Constant Power 0-375W Load Regulation < ±0.1%, 100% Load Change Line Regulation No measurable effect in output at full load- <0.1% 105 - 125 VAC, 210 - 250 VAC Ripple and Noise: <0.2% Power Requirement: 115 V, 60 Hz or 230 V, 50 Hz (this one is setup for 115 volts) Manufactured in USA by Hoefer Scientific of San Francisco.  Serial number 92-1022 (appears to be made in 1992). Included: PS2500 power supply Power cable Manual incl. operating instructions, calibration procedure, full schematics (printed from computer, not original) Not included: Anything else It will be packed carefully and will ship promptly via FedEx Ground/FedEx Home with a tracking number.
