Here is a used HOLOPHANE 300 Watt outdoor light fixture. The aluminum skin has been cut away to expose a ribbed glass inside. I tested this with 100 watt bulb, it lite up fine. Would make a light kitchen light. The next person will have to complete the restoration with buffing or painting of the metal and removal of excess glues that remain after the shell removal. I have 4 other ones that still have the aluminum shell on them. Enlarge the photos for inspection and general idea of what you are getting.
