Prismbeam II                                                        Intended Use: Prismbeam® is ideal for outdoor floodlighting applications such as bridges, power plants, petrochemical facilities, water and waste water treatment plants, lighting building facades, parking lots, perimeters and secure areas, sportsligting, rail yards, intermodal facilities and sea ports. Features: Construction: Housings of low copper content die cast aluminum alloy for excellent base corrosion protection. External fasteners are stainless steel. Hollow core high temperature silicon gasket between aluminum door frame and reflector maintains seal for extended service life. Four stainless steel latches secure the door to the reflector. Finish: Electrostatically applied polyester powder coat finish . Optical System: Reflector shall be anodized aluminum alloy producing a wide array of distributions. The reflector design eliminates bright streaks and provides uniform illumination and low surface brightness. The door mounted lens is tempered glass for symmetric distributions or prismatic glass for asymmetric distributions. Optional louvers are available. Vertical aiming protractor included. Electrical System: Holophane manufactured high power factor, copper wound ballast that provides full rated wattage to the lamp. Reliable starting to -40° F. Starter for HPS lamps is fully encapsulated. A protected starter is available that senses an inoperative or missing lamp and automatically removes itself from the circuit, preventing damage to the ballast. Lamp support is porcelain enclosed socket with nickel plated lamp grip screw shell. Installation: Steel zinc plated mounting yoke with horizontal aiming angle marks. Optional horizontal protractor mounting or adaptor for 2” pipe is available. Listings: UL/CUL Listed for Wet Locations
