HOLZ-HER MODEL CA-80 AUTOMATIC PANEL SAW STANDARD FEATURES: 1.) BASIC MACHINE -3200 MM (10’ 6”) Cutting Length -80 MM (3.14”) Cutting Height (w/380 MM. saw blade) -Heavy duty fabricated steel frame with integral machined table provides exceptional strength, rigidity and vibration absorbing ability. -CARRIAGE runs on ground and polished rectangular guide bars for lasting, repeatable cutting accuracy. Guide bars are located on both sides of the carriage as high as possible so as to provide a wide stabilizing guide way that resists the collections of dust and abrasive grit. Carriage mounted rail scrapers further act to clean the rails. -Automatic cutting cycle -Pneumatic raising and lowering of the saw blades -Separated motors for main and scoring blades -9 Kw (12 HP) main saw motor with 75 mm. arbor for vibration-free cutting -1.1 Kw (1.5 HP) scoring saw motor with 45 mm. arbor -Clamp beam is pneumatically operated-having torque rod with pinions connecting parallel racks to ensure alignment with the table all the times. -Efficient dust collections provided by two means: 1- Continuous tube with rubber flap collects from saw carriage mounted chute, throughout the cutting stroke. Tube has outlets at both ends. 2- Continuous collection throughout the pressure beam. -Safety is provided at the line by: 1-Sectional plastic fingers that drop with the clamp beam to prevent entry by any fore- ign objects, as well as, provide dust seal. 2-Pressure sensitive rails that drop with the pressure beam and shut down the machine upon detection of any object in the vicinity of the pressure beam and the saw line. 3- Access door with safety limit switch -Control panel mounted on swing arm for ease of operation at the front saw. -All adjustments to sawblades, belts, etc. are easily made through top-mounted door while saw carriage is at home position on left-hand of the machine -Removable service doors provide complete access to the inside of the machine base and are located side by side all the way down the saw -Minimum air pressure switch prevents operations without sufficient air pressure 2.) SAW CARRIAGE DRIVE -Automated, electronically controlled, infinitely variable saw carriage feed (forward) From 18-164 FPM (6 to MPM). Return speed 230 FPM (70MPM) for faster, cost effective Processing. 3.) AUTOMATIC CUTTING LENGTH LIMITER -Automatically limits the cutting length at the end of a work piece, to optimize the cutting duration and saw carriage travel, especially when cross-cutting. 4.) AIR FLOTATION TABLES (3 ) -To simplify and facilitate material handling at the front support tables. Each table may be Activated individually and is provided with its own blower. Dimension = 2000 x 600 mm 5.) WORKPIECE SUPPORT – REAR -Consists of individual support strips with surface protecting covering 6.) PROGRAMMED FENCE -Heavy duty program fence, precision-guided, with rack and pinion drive both sides, guarantees to be parallel all the time -Freely programmable electronic DC control for rip and cross cuts -Program fence speed = 131 FPM (40 MPM) 7.) GRIP CLAMPS (5 ) - Heavy duty grip clamps for pushing and pulling of work pieces for rip and cross cutting 8. SIDE ALIGNEMENT DEVICE -Semi-Automatic operation. Manual setting and automatic activation at the start of the cutting cycle. Max travel 2100 mm. 9.) LAST CUT FACILITY -Device to guarantee a perfect last cut. Once the panel is positioned, it will be clamped by means of five (5) pneumatic cylinders – the clamps open – move away from the cutting line – the pressure beam comes down to hold the work piece.
