Humane goat or sheep leg catch for either front or back leg, and has an anti-kickout lever that opens and closes with a spring.  It does not harm the goat and is better than grabbing the horns that can break off at the skull.  These hooks are made with 1/4" solid steel rod.   They can be bent if alot of force is applied.   But, if this happens, they can usually be bent back into shape.   This rarely happens, but if it does, it is a simple fix.   If it's the hook, squeeze it with you hand until it gets back to the proper width.   If it's te shaft, press it against your leg and use both hands to press it back into shape.   Once in awhile, the anti-kick lever may flip over the rod and come out of place.   You simply have to slip it back over the rod into proper position. But, this rarely happens.
