This module works across the LTE Cat M1 network from AT&T. It replaces the Honeywell LTE-XA and offers superior security and signal penetration. All setup from the LTE-XA remains the same. Cellular connectivity has been long-regarded as the single most effective communication path for an alarm system, and the AT&T LTE Cat M1 Network takes this to the next level. By using this communicator, you can ensure that your Honeywell VISTA Alarm System is able to consistently maintain fast and reliable connectivity with the Resideo AlarmNet Servers. As long as you are using the system in an area with good coverage from the AT&T LTE Network, then you should feel confident that your system will maintain reliable connectivity. And if you are in a more rural area, then you can usually compensate by adding a cellular antenna like the Honeywell CELL-ANT3DB, or a cellular amplifier to boost signals. Another benefit to adding the LTEM-XA to your VISTA Panel is that it will allow you to set up Total Connect 2.0 service with your system, provided that the service is supported by your panel. Total Connect 2.0 is a remote interactive security and automation platform that allows you to control your system from pretty much anywhere in the world by using an app on your phone or a web browser.
