The Dynamic Self-Check Amplifier tests the detectors and all electronic components in the flame detection system. The 7800 SERIES relay module locks out on safety shutdown with flame detection system failure. The Honeywell R7849A1023 Flame Amplifier is a brand new product that utilizes solid state plug-in amplifiers to respond to flame detector inputs and indicate the presence of a flame. and CSA and is acceptable for use by Swiss RE and Factory Mutual. This flame amplifier is compatible with existing Honeywell flame detectors (order separately). It has a flame failure response time of either 0.8 or 3.0 seconds and has a flame signal strength that ranges from 0.0 to 5.0 Vdc. It has flame signal test jacks to measure amplifier flame signal voltage and color-coded labels to identify flame detection type. To ensure proper orientation, it plugs into a 7800 relay module through a printed circuit board edge connector that is keyed. It is approved by Underwriter Laboratories Inc. It is designed for use with gas and oil flame sensors, such as the Minipeeper C7027A, C7035A, and C7044.
