This is an industrial display with a touchscreen. It has the power dock that attaches to the back of the display, and includes a 120vac to dc power module that powers the unit from the AC line. But it can operate on DC as well . It also has an internal battery that seems to power the unit for an hour or more. The unit looks brand new with no marks or blemishes. The date printed on the power dock is March 2016. It came to me with many of the cable connectors inside disconnected. While inside the unit, I found a pinched cable (USB) and a glob of solder on a connector, either of which might have been causing an issue. I removed the solder blob, and unplugged the pinched usb cable. After putting all back together, the unit appears to work correctly, booting up in Windows Embedded Compact 7. However, for the display to visible, the power switch on the dock must be in the off position. ...during which time the unit is then running on battery only. I don't know if there is a software bit that can be set, or if the power cable (which has 2 wires of unknown use) can be connected in a way to turn on the display. From the documentation I could find on the web, this unit has a blanking feature which turns off the display under certain conditions. I was able to connect the unit to my wireless router in my home. Touchscreen works fine. Has a plastic stylus on an elastic string.  There is a metal connector and cable that powers the unit from a dc source, or from an ac to dc power supply which plugs into ac power (included). Note that one of the usb cables is still not plugged into it's socket inside ..... this cable was found to be pinched and may have had it's internal wires shorted ....which may have been the issue with this unit. I left it unplugged, but it would be easy to plug it back in to see if it is now ok, or if it then fails, that cable could easily be replaced. I cannot guarantee that all features are working, but it sure looks like they would be based on how clean and new this is. I will refund payment if the unit is returned (buyer pays return shipping cost) within 30 days of the date of sale.
