This cost $1,248. You can save $800 by buying it here. Also please see my other listing for a full inspection camera setup with camera and display. Used for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This has the L-65 ring lighting system and power supply. It also has the WF10X eyepiece, the 46 millimeter ultraviolet filter, and a ground strap with a spade lug attached to it. This is so that you can ground the antistatic pad to your grounded workbench. By the way, I have two of these that came from the laboratory, but I am totally keeping one of these for my own company use to inspect my own manufactured products, I presently have 54 small manufacturing projects going. And I can't imagine how I could ever come up with $1,300 to get one of these myself, so I will keep one and sell one. The one that is photographed is the one that I'm selling. This is not a Chinese microscope like everyone else is selling on eBay. This item is made in Japan and is of the utmost quality. The movements that raise and lower the scope and all the adjustments have a very solid, smooth, and silky feel. If you look at the many many stereo microscope that are listed on eBay, almost every single one is Chinese made. Some of them have paragraphs and paragraphs of details about them, even going so far as to say, "Manufactured under ISO 9001 Quality Control Standard", but they don't say exactly where that is. Well, it's China. This is a superior quality product. The optics are all Japanese and excellent. If you search Hozan L-50 on Google, the first search return is the factory page for this. It explains all the specs and options. Here are a few details: L-50 STEREO MICROSCOPE Total magnification (view) 10x /20x Objective lens 1x / 2x selection format Eyepiece WF10x (L-511) Sight adjustment Monocular adjustment type, ±5Dptr Working distance 80 mm Focus adjustment Head scope up/down type Stereo head spec. I have posted 12 photos for this auction. One of them is an actual photo that I took with the crappy camera on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, through the left eye piece. This photo is nowhere nearly as good as the actual view with your eyeball, but is the best I can do with a smartphone, this is just to show the actual view and the magnification it has. That is an actual photo I took myself, it is an EPROM that has been decapped just by breaking the raised area off a 2764 EPROM, I had one that was already broken that way, and they will corrode if left that way, so I can't really use it, so I used that to test the system. The view is absolutely brilliant. You can read the writing on the die of the microchip! Sadly, the eBay auction photos are heavily compressed by eBay, so you cannot read the lettering at the top. But with the naked eye looking through this stereo microscope, you can see every little track and gold bond wire clearly. Anything not shown in the photos is not included. This will be dismantled and packed very, very carefully for shipment anywhere in the world. I have made more than 2,500 shipments of electronic music machines to my customers in 39 countries around the world since 1999, with 25 years in the international mail order business total. So please trust that this will arrive safely. In 2013, my company received a huge shipment of equipment from a Japanese laboratory. I believe that they were making audio tape recorder heads and doing study and inspection with those, but I'm really not sure, it might also have been used in some kind of semiconductor or electronics environment. I received computers, manual presses, a PC with Laboratory software, optic light sources, various things. Everything was fastidiously packed in pink antistatic bubble wrap, green Japanese tape, packed in other packages with more bubble wrap, with little packages of packing peanuts, packed in small boxes, packed into larger outer boxes, all taped up with brown tape or green tape. Just unpacking one item, a camera and display setup, took about an hour, because there were so many layers to the packaging. I've had this in stock about 2 years now. Sprague Magnetics in Sylmar California had bought out the entire engineering assets of a number of companies, and this was from some unknown location in Japan. Everything in this entire lot was in absolute mint condition, I thought that some of the items might have been new units that were purchased for future use or purchased as a backup, because many of the items show absolutely no sign of wear and no sign of touching whatsoever. Almost everything was probably intended for Japanese 100v power, this is known to work fine in USA 115 volt power environments, although one person 15 years ago told me not to do that, it will overheat transformers. But please note that I have done this with a literal ton of audio in music equipment over the last 20 years without problems and I have tested it today on American power. But just be aware that this was all Japanese made for Japanese delivery and use, and is probably all 100 volt equipment natively. I don't know if this was affiliated with the Hitachi company or not, but every single item that possibly could be Hitachi brand, is Hitachi brand. From oscilliscope probes to video cameras. Better condition equipment will not be found anywhere in any product category. This stuff is beyond mint condition. Free local pickup in Los Angeles is okay if you can work around my very busy schedule. Free pick up means to select free local pickup at checkout, so I don't already pay 10% to eBay and 3% to PayPal on the shipping expense before someone says they want to do a free local pickup. If you paid for shipping, then you paid for shipping and the money is not coming back. Synhouse accepts Paypal. Additionally, Synhouse has accepted payments directly by Visa, Mastercard, and American Express for 15 years now.
Near mint condition, a spare from a lab in Japan. According to an online brochure, it is supposed to have a removable disk in the center of the base, so that you could look at the long end of something, for example, to slip it off the edge of the bench and put a rifle barrel underneath, and this would allow you to look inside the tip of a rifle barrel. That removable disk that is shown on the web is not included with this. I never received it. It could be replaced with any piece of material from cardboard to plexiglass to aluminum that is 100 millimeters round, or anything between 90 millimeters and 200 millimeters would be okay. One rear corner of the power supply unit has a scuff on it, everything else is absolutely like brand new. The newness of this machine is incredible. The functional condition is absolutely 100 percent plus.
