The HP-3478A has both front and rear terminal connections that can be used to measure 2- and 4-Wire Ohms, Voltage, and Current (the front terminals must be used to measure current). Front and rear input is easily selected from the front panel. The HP-IB interface connector is located at the right. This meter is set for 120VAC, however, internal jumpers can be set for 220/240VAC. The HP-3478A does not need a cooling fan, so the instrument is completely silent; it's a pleasure to use.
