  HP 4278a 1 kHz / 1 MHz Capacitance Meter The Agilent 4278a is a high speed, precision test instrument for prodution line or quality control. Option 003, +1% test frequency shift Option 101, GPIB  Option 202, Handler Interface  Measures the following parameters: Capacitance  from .00001 pF to 200 uF DF from .000001  tyo 9.99999 Q from 0.1 to 99999.9 G from 0.00001 uS to 9.99999 S ESR from 0.001 ohm to 9.99999 Mohm Shown testing a 100 pF HP capacitance standard at 1 kHz (capacitance standard not included) Also shown testing a 10 pF HP capacitance standard at 1 MHz (capacitance standard not included) Passes Self Test I have checked this unit with various capacitors and have gotten accurate results. I have checked the Osc. Output and the frequencies and output levels are good.  I have sent the instrument several commands over the HPIB, and it responded correctly. I have tested the memory card slot and it functioned properly No other tests were performed on this instrument. All photos are of actual unit This unit is good cosmetically, with some small scratches on the front panel , and some scrapes on the case Serial Number  2936 J 07244 Comes with CD with copy of operation & service manuals (PDF), and power cord.
