This is a quality, 1KW power supply from HP (before Agilent and Keysight existed). It is a beast - both in the massive output capability as well as the loud fans that keep it cool. It is in pretty good condition, but it is not brand new and is certainly missing some paint, has scratches, and is missing a sticker from the front of the current setting knob (as visible in my pictures). No real dents or anything though. It is fairly clean - no sticker residue, gunk, etc. The meters are in good condition. The meters on this device are particularly cool - the current meter not only shows you the output current, but also shows you the max voltage allowed at that current. Similarly, the voltage meter not only shows you the output voltage - but also shows you the max allowed current at that output voltage. I've never seen meters like this on another device - which is too bad because they're great. In the pictures, you can see me driving 50V@20A and it is working without any issues. I tested a couple other ranges as well. I'm happy to run a specific test with this supply before you purchase as well. I will only be including the HP 6012A. Anything else pictured will not be included in the auction. Local pickup in the San Francisco bay area is also available to save on shipping charges.
