Up for sale is an HP 740B DC voltage standard differential voltmeter. Unit powers on and will measure voltage as a normal VM (scale directly shows the input) as well as a differential voltmeter (scale shows the difference between the digital display and the input) and will output DC voltage as shown in the last few composite photos. The unit will need to be re-calibrated and likely needs to have the chopper circuit looked over, as that seems to be the culprit for the DC offset when operating the DC voltage standard and differential VM modes. Photos of the DC voltage standard operation had the offset nulled out at 0V output on each range before taking the photo, which was as high as 5V on the 1000V range and as low as 3mV on the 1V range. Overall, the unit looks to be in okay shape and certainly useable once the chopper assembly has been adjusted. The basic input cable I used in the photos for testing will be included with the unit.
