But except HP 83590-series plug ins .The revised firmware kit should be used as a replacement for all defective EPROMS in an HP83500-series plug-ins or it is desired to update with revision 6 firmware.Firmware replacement takes only a few minutes to perform.It come with Installation Note. It is for the following models : HP 83522A ( 0.01to 2.4GHz ) S/N Pre-fix 2339A and below. HP 83525A/B ( 0.01 to 8.4GHz ) S/N Pre-fix 2412A / 2343A and below HP  83540A/B ( 2 to 8.4GHz ) S/N Pre-fix 2338A / 2411A and below HP  83545A ( 5.9 to 12.4GHz ) S/N Pre-fix 2343A and below HP  83570A.
