8568B Spectrum Analyzer HP 8662A Synthesized Signal  Generator   Here is a  very nice HP 8662A Synthesized Signal Generator with the rear panel 640 MHz output. This unit has been cleaned and serviced - inside is  exceptionally clean and looks like new. The main Power supply appears to have  been swapped out relatively recently with a new board! This unit works perfectly.... the output attenuator works perfectly (see pics below). The output flatness is outstanding - measured  with a power meter to about +/- 0.3dB over the full frequency range. There are no gaps in the frequency coverage (see pic)  as often happens when these fail. The frequency reference has been calibrated to a GPS  locked Rubidium standard. And of course the phase noise and spectral purity is  outstanding. I have been repairing and servicing RF test equipment  for many years and invest many hours in each piece of equipment I offer. I know  these generators inside out and can promise you that this one is working  perfectly. This is a later production unit - far more likely to  give you trouble free service for years to come. The main Power supply in this unit looks to have  been swapped out relatively recently with a new board! This will be  professionally packed and shipped (Fedex Ground) from 92014. Local buyers are  welcome to come check it out in person. All pictures (below) are of the unit being  offered.   Demonstrating the output level attenuator from +10dBm  to -80dBm (stepping down and back up). Demonstrating the output level attenuator from -30dBm  to -130dBm (stepping down and back up). Note that -120dBm is about at the  noise floor of my spectrum analyzer but the attenuator is good all the way to  -130dBm. Demonstrating the output has no dead spots (the 8662A  was tuned manually in 10 MHz steps with the spectrum analyzer in max hold).
