HP 8753B 300 kHz to 3 GHz Network AnalyzerThe HP 8753B vector network analyzer is an instrument which measures the complex transmission and reflection characteristics of two-port devices in the frequency domain. It does this by sampling the incident signal, separating the transmitted and reflected waves, and then performing ratios that are directly related to the reflection and transmission coefficients of the two-port. Frequency is swept to rapidly obtain amplitude and phase information over a band of frequencies of interest. HP 8753B vector network analyzers utilize synthesized-frequency sources to provide a known test stimulus that can sweep across a range of frequencies or power levels. HP 8753B network analyzers also can perform ratioed measurements (including phase), which require multiple receivers. The  HP 8753B can provide a wealth of knowledge about a device under test (DUT), including its magnitude, phase, and group-delay response. The test set is controlled from the analyzer and includes programmable step attenuators. It can be used with the  HP 8753A/B/C. Provides the capability to measure reflection and transmission characteristics (including S-parameters) of two-port devices in either direction with a single connection. Includes a programmable step attenuator Frequency range 300 kHz to 3 GHz Contains precision 7 mm connectors Includes all cable needed for operation and 7 mm to SMA Female adapters for the S parameter Test Set
