For sale is an HP 8971C Noise Figure Test Set. It is in very good physical condition and nothing strange happens when turned on, it shows all 8 lights steady for a few seconds then just the SSB1 light on steady. I don’t know what this means and I don’t know how to test this item so it is being sold as-is. No cables or accessories came with it, or are included. The connectors appear to be 3.5 mm which mate with SMA. This came from a Lab as Government Surplus. Other items in the lot worked so there is no reason to believe that this won’t work. Items that I believe to be part of this system are the HP 8970B Noise Figure Meter and the Gigatronics 7000 Synthesized Signal Source (10 MHz to 26.5 GHz, -110 to 0 dBm) which I will be listing separately.
