This is an 8562A Signal spectrum analyzer with optional mixer set for extra money .9khz to 50ghz with mixers.and it goes up to 26 ghz without mixers within spec even though the front panel says 22 ghz because I did a special realignment that Only I know how to do . it actually goes to 26.9 ghz however after 26 ghz its not quite in spec . It has been fully tested with my 26.5 ghz signal generator and works with no issues . I guarantee it to work great with no issues or you can have an exchange within 30 days!. I have thoroughly tested all of the functions and it passes all my freq response ,amplitude accuracy , noise-floor sensitivity,flatness, attenuator, and stability tests flawlessly within spec and is guaranteed to calibrate with no issues! .the waveform even at super high frequencies with low spans, on this unit has excellent shape. you can find one cheaper on ebay but not one this thoroughly tested. chances are that they will not be able to calibrate without repairs. even if they are offering warranty, Its good odds that there is an issue or they are hoping you wont send it in for cal because it will not calibrate. I guarantee this to recal at any lab and warranty it for a whole month! Plus I have 6 other units I can exchange this one with if you do encounter any issues upon receipt. All buttons, knob, outputs , and inputs and both ref sources(rear 10 mhz ref and front 300mhz cal out ref) work great. crt is in perfect bright and focused condition. No errors are showed when I powered it up, while running all the tests , and when I go to recall errors, as shown in pics,it displays "no errors".. the display is good. We have a cal lab here and I calibrated the unit traceable to NIST and a calibration certificate is included with sticker. First I realigned the loda amplitude and dual mixer alignment on the a14 board, then realigned the yig/yto and cal out freq which calibrates the frequency accuracy across the spectrum, then performed the ytf realignment which calibrates the amplitude and preselector, then complete flatness calibration and realignment according to the service manual . this unit performs like new in regards to amplitude, attenuator, and frequency accuracy. . Overall the unit has no issues and comes with a right of return guarantee , for exchange for buy it now customers only. The process that I perform on my units would cost you at least 1500$ at any other dealer. Because I do all the usual calibrations plus all the adjustments. Even if you buy one on ebay calibrated or from a dealer calibrated, it wont include any manual adjustments and thus won't perform as precise . I'm sure of this because I have received many units from cal labs all over the country and none of them do any adjustments or realignments like me. Not to mention, all my units are refurbished which means cosmetically making them in as pristine condition as possible.
