WORLDWIDE SHIPPING FOR CHEAP ! this one has the coveted tracking generator , opt 004 (stable freq ref) , 101 fast adc, 102 demod and tv sync , and 21 gpib output says 1 mhz to 1.8 ghz but really goes down to 300 khz. I can convert this to an 8591e w tg if you like 50 ohms for no extra charge. this one doesnt have tv in but I have another one for sale that does for 3000$.its on ebay INCLUDES lifetime CATV CARD borrowing ! ( to install catv menu if ever the battery should fail) I have a few of these complete , and one even has the rack mount installed plus the complete handle and rubber trim kit on it! that one can be included at no extra fee upon request. its also a late 2000 model. these started production in 1993 pics show flatness / frequency response and as you can see its within plus or minus / 0.3 db accuracy across the spectrum ! . freq response is guaranteed like new performance ! this version does have the tv reciever /tuner in upgrade,. this unit performs like new since I realigned and calibrated it all! OPTION LIST : 001 75 ohm version 004 precision reference 21 gpib 101 fast adc (analog to digital conversion im guessing) 102 demodulator/tv trigger 10 tracking generator 107 tv tuner / in 30 day warranty! its a 75 ohm analyzer but you can easily switch to 50 ohm analyzer simply by switching a setting inside the soft menu which changes the setting in the 3rd converter. also you can change the amplitude unit to dbm like a standard 50 ohm analyzer. I fed my signal generator thru this at 50 ohm with the 50 ohm setting and my amplitude readings were perfect just as if it was a standard 50 ohm only analyzer. and with 1.8 ghz you really dont need to have an N connector. bnc works just fine up to 1.8 ghz without any loss. This was however calibrated with a 75 cable /cables and the connectors have not been damaged and are not loose. you can wiggle them using 75 connector cables and still not see any amplitude fluctuations which is a common issue on the 75 ohm machines so beware what you buy on ebay ! it also has the much needed option high frequency stable standard 10 mhz. the ones that they usually come with are junk so the precision option is a must. and opt 41 is nice for connecting to printers and controlling it via keyboard and pc. this unit is one out of many analyzers for sale. and I also have 2 8563a, 3 8563e, 6 8562a , 2 8562e, 2 8561e , 1 8560ec, and 1 8560e. . and 2 8560a with tracking generators as well for 4000. I have a few other opts I can install if you want for more money like opt 151, 130, 103, and 160 . but this one has almost all the options available for 9 series. Comes with Brand new Nist Traceable calibration , certificate and sticker BRAND NEW FULL CALIBRATION and ALL adjustments made such as frequency accuracy,crt,yto,flatness, amplitude accuracy,etc... Beware lots of people claim to have their units calibrated, however if it doesnt have actual adjustments ran its not a calibration but merely a performance test and general approval . and in many cases those approvals dont even pass spec! and spec is not that accurate to begin with! This is an 8591C cable tv spectrum analyzer that goes from 300 khz to 1.85 ghz . This has been fully tested with my signal generator and works with no issues , warranty will be for exchanges within 30 days!. I have thoroughly tested all of the functions and it passes all my freq response ,amplitude accuracy , noise-floor sensitivity, phase noise, flatness, attenuator, and stability tests flawlessly within spec and is guaranteed to recalibrate with no issues! .the waveform even at super high frequencies with low spans, on this unit has excellent shape with NO spikes or sidebands/spurious signals at low spans / bandwidths. you may be able to find one cheaper on ebay but not one this thoroughly tested or freshly calibrated and realigned . chances are that they will not be able to calibrate without repairs. even if they are offering warranty, Its good odds that there is an issue or they are hoping you wont send it in for cal because it will not calibrate. Im also including a free 32 kb memory card as well (100$ value) for buy it now winners upon request. All buttons, knob, outputs , and inputs and both ref sources(rear 10 mhz ref and front 300mhz cal out ref) work great. crt is in excellent near new condition which is very rare for the 9 series. These units dont need to be sent in for cal very often like the 6 series because it has its own built in frequency and amplitude calibration that you can run anytime. No errors show when powered up, or while running all the internal tests , passes confidence test and internal self cal flawlessly .
