The HP Agilent 89410A Vector Signal Analyzer boasts a frequency range from dc to 10MHz and the option for a second channel. This second channel enables frequency response measurement and vector network analysis, while the built-in math functions allow for measurement calibration and correction. Statistical measurements like cross-correlation and coherence can also be made on two channels. Circuit stimulation is made flexible with the availability of sinewaves, periodic chirps, pseudo-random noise, and arbitrary waveforms that operate on a block of up to 4096 complex points. Any of these signals can be used as a stimulus while spectrum measurements are made elsewhere in the circuit. The user has complete control over the source level and DC offset of the pattern.
