For auction is an HP 42" DesignJet 500PS.  It is used, but in excellent condition.  It was bought for my business new and was hardly used at all.  I brought it home a few years ago and replaced the rubber belt drive that was starting to crack. (this is very common in printers and plotters. see picture of new one) I use it once in a while to print out large photos and have done a couple of posters (which were fantastic) a, but not enough to justify keeping it.  The unit communicates with USB.   You'll need new ink although the current cartridges have some ink in them. Since I am not offering returns, if you place a bid, I will send a photo of the current newspaper (dated front page) so you can see the image quality while it prints.(bidders only, don't ask otherwise)  We won't go forward if you are not satisfied.  I am listing it as local pickup, but if someone is willing to have it shipped to them, the unit weights 100lbs and crate may run another 30lbs.  I have not broken the unit down for packaging yet (so I can print a sample for you), but I believe that it can fit in a 24" by 24" by 70" crate/box. I will let you arrange freight shipping at your expense or you can ask me to arrange it in which case I will send you an invoice for the freight service once I have your mailing address and contact information. (please check freight shipping costs to get an idea of how much it will cost before you bid)
