HP Hewlett Packard Boonton Model 202H FM-AM Signal Generator The 202H is a classic, and an engineering beauty inside. This generator has both Boonton and HP nameplates. HP had recently acquired Boonton when the 202H was produced. A write up of the merger can be found on page 10 of the Fall 1959 BRC Notebook. The meticulousness that went into this generator is what made Boonton and HP great. Note: the power cord for this generator is unusual, and a normal IEC cord won't fit. Each feature, function and range was checked for proper operation and output. Some of the switches and controls could benefit from an application of contact cleaner. The generator is able to reach red line on the output meter at the high end of the high band.
