This is a Monochrometer and detector head from a Hewlett Packard Liquid Chromatograph although it could probably be used for a multitude of other purposes. The model number on the tag is SF 770M-A2. It has outputs for a sample and reference and a  place to mount the tubing and cells. A turns counting dial indicates wavelength in nm and works smoothly. It runs from <200nm up to a hard stop at 724nm. I am also including a removable detector head that mounts on rails. The back of the monochrometer has a slit and rails that were originally used to mount a deuterium lamp. There is also a fan for cooling the lamp but the power cord has been cut. The detector head has a mechanical chopper and uses a photomultipler tube which I can say is bad with almost 100% certainty. I am pretty sure the chopper is okay but will not guarantee anything in the detector head. Please note that this auction does not include the deuterium lamp or any of the liquid handling components from the chromatograph. It is sold as a good starter for a homebrew photometer or whatever you can dream up. Please feel free to ask questions.
