This is a big old Detroit oiler or what's left of it. It needs the regulator rod etc. This is a large reservoir oiler with a sliding filler door on the top. The top is embossed DETROIT LUBRICATOR CO-DETROIT MICH. Except for the glass level sight the entire lubricator is made of solid brass. This thing is pretty heavy too at almost 4 pounds. The lid is 3 3/4" in diameter and the body is 9" long. I think the sight glass on the outside is pretty unusual but then again the thing is all brass. This is a pretty cool oiler that could be made to work by one of you handy hit and miss engine guys. Some of the work you guys do is simply amazing! Maybe you could even make something else out of it or repurpose it for something you're building.-------------------Take a good look at the photos for further details.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Feel free to ask any questions.
