Humphrey Auto Keratometer 410 This keratometer has a head and chin rest on one end and a control panel on the other. The control panel's got two LED displays in either mm or DK and one LED display in degrees. The buttons include "clear", "con", "mm/DK", "auto", "R. per", "L. per", "print", "send", "R. eye", "L. eye", and "read". There are two wheels for adjusting the keratometer's position, one for moving the unit in/out and a mousewheel for adjusting along the X-Y axes. There's a printer that takes 2.25" paper; the latches that holds the cover shut are broken and the cover has springs that keep it open. There's a viewport that uses a red pinpoint light for targetting. The unit takes 120 V power from an included power cord. There's a 25-pin female D connector of unknown function. How the unit was tested: When plugged in and turned on the sensor moves into a default position, there's an internal whirring or grinding noise, and then the "error" indicator light comes on. It seems that some internal mechanism is jammed or has some other fault. The trackball can be used to raise or lower the sensor and move it side to side, and the wheel can be used to move the sensor in and out. The LED displays light up.
