Please contact directly with any questions - 972.793.0709 Description of the UW4 Purpose - Continuous supply of non-impact printers off the roll over a period of several hours. Technical variations – Single dancer for speeds up to 80 m/min – Double dancer for speeds up to 150 m/min – Vacuum-operated loop-control system for moving the web in steps at speeds of up to 120 m/min – Service unit for external air supply – Compressor for built-in air supply – Choice of pneumatic mandrels, for core diameters of 70 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm, 3", 5" – Web de-curling device for paper web smoothing Method of operation By pressing a switch the roll with the mandrel inserted is brought into the working position by the motor-driven mechanism. After the paper-web has been pulled in manually, initialization of the module takes place automatically. The roll is driven at the center. The unwinding speed follows the requirements of the printer, under electronic control. The paper rolls can be unwound in either direction of rotation. Special technical features A responsive, productive unwinding system for rolls of up to 1370 mm in diameter. Simple operation with operator guidance in dialogue mode and fault diagnosis. Information concerning remaining roll diameter or the length of web unwound is shown on the display.
