"Magister Hydraulics" 3000 PSI welded cylinder The technology we use in Magister Hydraulics cylinders is one of the best European practices. Steel piston and steel gland with nylon glass guide rings and five component compact piston’s seals provide for extra durability and efficiency of the cylinders. This technology provides the cylinders with outstanding durable characteristics in comparison to any regular ductile iron based cylinders. All of our cylinders are put through a 150% maximum pressure test before they go on the shelf.  Applications: Double action heavy duty hydraulic cylinder Tube: High tensile honed cold drawn tube Rod: High tensile ground & polished hard chrome plated rod Gland: Precision threaded gland with wear rings for long life Piston: High tensile steel for heavy duty applications Clevis & base ends: Durable forged items with pins and clips included Piston seals: Top quality five components compact seals for excellent performance Rod seals: Standard U-cup polyurethane rod seal with inner O-ring, POM-C wear rings and polyurethane wiper Ports: SAE 8 O-rings Warranty: 1 year limited warranty Color: Black Bore: 2.5" Stroke: 4" Rod: 1.25" Retracted: 14-1/4" Extended: 18-1/4" Pin Size: 1" Port Size: SAE8 Column Load: 14,700 lbs Work Pressure: 3000 PSI For other dimensions please refer to the drawings above. We have in stock a variety of standard Hydraulic Cylinders, check out our other items! To ensure customer satisfaction with Magister Hydraulics cylinders, please read this guide or watch a YouTube video below describing how to measure for proper cylinder replacement: 1. Determine what type of hydraulic cylinder are you looking for. (single acting, double acting or telescopic) 2. Find out working pressure that is applicable on your current equipment. 3. Check the mountings of the cylinder on each end, it may vary. (cross tubes, clevises, pin eye, etc) 4. Take accurate measurements of the existing cylinder such as:       A. Bore diameter  (piston inside)       B. Rod diameter (chrome plated bar)      C. Pin holes diameters on each side      D. Outer  diameter of the cylinder tube (case)      E. Length of the cylinder in retracted and extended positions (make sure you take measurements from the center of the pin hole to the center of the pin hole) 5. Figure out the stroke of the cylinder (Extended length - retracted length) 6. Find out thread port dimensions (SAE 6, SAE 8, SAE 4, etc) If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us 1(844) 624-4783
