What is Hydrographics: Hydrographics also known as Water Transfer Printing is a unique process that allows the user to apply a special Ink design to three-dimensional surfaces. There are over a thousand different patterns. The water transfer printing process allows the film pattern to reach into tight spaces that a normal printing process would not allow. Hydrographics film starts out as a polyvinyl alcohol or PVA film. These Hydrographic films are known to have excellent adhesive and emulsifying properties. PVA film is also odorless and most importantly, non toxic. The ink is printed onto the PVA film using rolling drums aka Gravure Printing. This is the same process that firearms manufacturers use to apply camouflage graphics to Rifles, Pistols and Shotguns. This is also the same process used by Archery bow manufacturers to apply camouflage. Using a Hydrographic Dip Kit will allow you to apply these ink designs to just about anything.
