Real serial port. Real MS-DOS. Real slow CPU.  Win98SE does everything that MS-DOS, 3.11, 95 and 98 could do and much more. IBM Thinkpad 380ED Pentium 166 MHz, 3 GB HDD, 32 MB RAM, running Windows 98SE and full MS-DOS. Internal CD-ROM and Floppy Drive, DB9/RS232 Serial Port, LPT port, IR port, VGA port, PS2 mouse port,  two PCMCIA slots. Good cosmetic and working condition, comes with original IBM ac adapter and nylon laptop bag. Display is bright and clean, PC is fast and smooth due to freshly installed OS. No missing or broken parts, no dirt or grease. Main battery is holding charge well. It also comes with a Win98 Start Up diskette.   The laptop contains  large collection of radio programming s/w  for the four major brands (MOT, IC, KEN, VX). Also has Macom Programmer R18, DRC200, WinRAR, WinAmp and Adobe Reader . OS and all drivers have been installed anew, BIOS has been updated, CMOS battery has been replaced. This laptop could be a great collectors item if not for two blemishes - a sticker and some dry sticker residue on the lead, nothing that can not be cleaned if needed.  Also the screen has some discolored pixels around the edges - does not really affect functionality, mostly the looks.  However the price was significantly reduced to reflect the condition.  Otherwise a great working and perfectly usable machine that will most likely outlive many laptops from the same era. Do not hesitate  to ask a question.
