Real serial port. Real MS-DOS. Real slow CPU.  IBM Thinkpad iSeries model 1472 -  Pentium II 366 MHz, 20 GB HDD, 320 MB RAM, running Windows 98SE and full MS-DOS. Internal DVD-ROM and Floppy Drive, DB9/RS232 Serial Port, LPT port, IR port, VGA port, PS2 mouse port, modem port two PCMCIA slots. Also has an integral CD player that still works when the laptop itself is off. Excellent cosmetic and good working condition, comes with ac adapter. I have installed brand new HDD and RAM. Display is bright and clean, but has some discolored stripes at the lower 20% portion of the screen. I know it spoils the looks a little but it does not affect functionality. Mostly noticeable on darker screens. Main battery is not holding charge due to age. Replacements available on ebay. The laptop contains  big collection of radio programming s/w  for the four major brands (MOT, IC, KEN, VX). Also has Macom Programmer R18, DRC200, WinRAR, WinAmp, MS Office and Adobe Reader . Good collection of desktop themes and screen savers plus some games of the bygone era.  OS and all drivers have been installed anew, BIOS has been updated, CMOS battery has been replaced. Do not hesitate  to ask  questions.
