This switch is suitable for use with various types of lead-acid batteries, including 6, 12, or 24 volt top-post style batteries. It connects exclusively to the negative terminal of your battery and can handle 500 ampere surges and 125 ampere continuous at 12 volts. The switch is made of highly conductive zinc alloy and brass plated with anti-corrosion protection. It is straightforward to use; disconnection of the battery is as simple as unscrewing the green knob, while to reconnect, one needs to tighten it back. The green knob can be removed entirely to deter theft.
