Ideal DestroyIt Model 2602 Cross/Cut Shredder.  The motor is working and I did try and open the gear houseing.  Although I did not fully opening the gear housing I did open it partially and turn the motor by hand.  It appears the gears hit a certain point and then slip.  I am not an expert on this machine and my opinion should be taken as just that.  I will sell only the top part (motor ~ ect.) of the shredder if that is all you need.  Also although all the parts are there I did not fully tighten all the screws on the gear housing.  Let me know before you purchase so I can get the shipping fees.  Please feel free to call or e-mail me with any questions.  Unfortunately eBay does not allow me to put my studios website address here, but you can find us by doing a Google search, so you can buy with confidence.  John Gaspar Photographers  470 Atwood Avenue Cranston, RI 02920   Please view my other eBay listings for more great items!
