Rugged little meter easy to read. It's been repaired with some tape on the bottom as you can see in the pic but doesn't seem to affect the way it works. I plugged it into 110 and it lit right up with the correct reading. Apparently doesn't need a battery, I don't see any trap door to install one. If you're interested in what you see, please check my other auctions. I list approximately 2 items each evening for 10 day auctions so have a good variety of listings at any one time. The majority of my listings are NOS Deere parts with other odd items I come across along the way. I am working my way through a substantial parts inventory of NOS from several John Deere dealerships. Most parts are 1970 and before. Consider adding me to your favorite sellers list and keep an eye on my auctions. A quick word on the meaning of NOS: these are items that have never been used, but they have been lying around for a while. Parts that deteriorate with time may need to be replaced, like shaft seals. Valves may be lightly stuck. The paint may be chipped and it may not quite match the color of the rest of your tractor, anyway, so figure on stripping and painting the part to match your paint job. I will describe any deterioration as best I can for you. My guarantee is good and my comebacks are practically non-existent so for the most part my descriptions are accurate and my buyers understand the game. I am always glad to combine shipping for you. Just give me a heads up and I'll hold your items for a bit to see if you buy something else we can ship at the same time. Note that I DO respond to virtually all communication. I like to have a chance to get a bargain at auctions, so I offer you the same: I start the items low and do not have a reserve. You tell me what it's worth, not the other way around.
