Good Luck! --------------------------------- ITEM BEING OFFERED: IEC CENTRA MP4 BENCH TOP CENTRIFUGE + 818 ROTOR These highly versatile programmable centrifuges feature a wide selection of rotors to meet virtually any application. Each unit can be used as a large-capacity centrifuge when equipped with 05-006-9 Swing-out Rotor (p.561) which accommodates loads of 1000 mL (4 x 250 mL). Or convert the unit into a microcentrifuge by inserting the 05-112-125 Microtube Rotor (facing page). Using the 05-155-5 Rotor (p.566) turns your centrifuge into a microplate centrifuge capable of handlingup to four 96-well microplates. Choose from these rotors of 14 other rotors to match your application. Plus, many of the rotors are interchangeable with other IEC bench centrifuges. Advanced SmartSet* microprocessor controls and a waterproof membrane switch panel ensure accurate seletion of run parameters. Rotor speed can be set from 300 to 14,000 rpm in 100 rpm increments. Or you can enter g-force and the unit will automatically set speed to produce that force. Timer can be set up to 5 minutes in 1-sec. increments and from 5 to 360 minutes in 1-min. increments. When setting the timer, you can select from two modes: At Speed, which delays countdown until rotor reaches operating speed; or traditional At Start, which begins timer when START button is pushed. An internal memeory lets you store/lock up to 10 programs that can be recalled at the touch of a button. The control panel can also be used to select acceleration/braking rates, momentary spins (with count-up timer), or temperature (Centra-MP4R only). Digital displays show actual operating conditions or set values at the push of a button. These models are also equipped with several features designed to ensure safe operation. Fail-safe cover interlock prevents the lid from being opened while the rotor is moving. Imbalance detector automatically shuts down the unit if rotor imbalance occurs-signals operator to rebalance load. Plus, rubber suction feet limit the movement of the unit. Each model is CSA certified, complies with IEC 1010-2-020, and meets OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Final Rule when equipped with sealed rotors. Manufactured under ISO 9001 quality system. The centrifuge is in excellent cosmetic condition; no defects were observed per our inspection. The machine has been tested to spin at various RPMs and it does so up to 14000 RPM with no effort. It spins up and slows down the rotor very quickly. No vibrations or unusual noises have been noticed while testing. This is a very powerful centrifuge and provides lots of flexibility.
