Very complete barn fresh original example of a 4hp IHC Famous kerosene engine. Engine turns over and almost everything moves as it should but it could use a good going over. The nice part is that almost everything is there! The carburetor cap, main bearing oil covers, original muffler and exhaust elbow, and crankguard. There is an old blacksmith repair on the bottom of the head and the rocker tower is broken. The end of the pushrod, carburetor flange, and exhaust elbow need to be repaired but all of the pieces are there to do so. This engine is tagged as a Famous Hopper Cooled Engine and has the original belt pulley on it. It should be a pretty straightforward project and will make a very presentable engine when it is finished. It's tough to find them like this anymore!  I can deliver for free (or a cold beverage) Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year.
