This high-quality IKA Ret control visc s1 Hotplate Stirrer from Werke NICE is in excellent condition and fully operational, with minimal signs of use. The unit's LCD display provides a range of information, such as the selected and actual temperature, speed, and viscosity, as well as error messages that may arise when adjusting temperature and speed settings. If you connect an optional probe (either 33994-016 or 33998-224), the display will show the selected and actual temperature of the medium. When the probe isn't connected, the display will show the selected and actual temperature of the hot plate instead. Additionally, you'll receive a warning message when the plate is hot – even when the device is powered down. Our hot plate stirrers have been designed specifically for automated laboratory tasks and come equipped with a robust magnet, easy-to-read backlit LCD display, safety circuitry, and infinitely adjustable controls for both heat and speed. Additionally, all models feature stirring bar crack detection and are enclosed in a durable casing. Our RET Control-VISC models boast a stainless steel top plate, while the RET Control-VISC C variants have a hard-wearing white enamel top plate. Other features of this hot plate stirrer include soft start to reduce spills, electronic speed monitoring and control, and "fuzzy logic" microprocessor, which allows for optimal temperature control. You can also maintain a set speed even if the viscosity changes. All models come with an RS-232 serial interface, allowing temperature and speed profiles to be easily controlled and documented on your computer. Furthermore, our labworldsoft* software enables you to control and document all measuring values via your PC.
