IntraLAN SmartRoom Network Jack Pack. The IntraLAN SmartRoom Network Jack Pack is a remarkably compact wall jack packed with a variety of connectivity options. The unit can function as an integral part of either the LINKS or ULTRA SmartRoom or as a standalone device as a powerful Access Point. The SmartRoom Jack Pack offers the most minimal in-room presence while supporting a robust set of SRN features. The Jack Pack's self contained design eliminates the need for the full Remote Network Device enclosure and supports all the critical functions of the SRN architecture. The SRN Jack Pack installs in a standard single gang, in-wall opening and is powered by a standard PoE source, providing data and power. The SRN Jack Pack provides a high-powered micro-access point, VLAN switched external Cat5 port (with PoE). The Jack Pack also offers an optional ZigBee transceiver and external antenna connection. The Jack Pack has all of the core benefits of a SRN-packed solution with a low profile. Jack Pack is easy to install with minimal room downtime. It replaces a standard Ethernet wall jack and fits precisely in the receptacle box – no drywall cutting or additional holes in the wall.
