Hunt Boston Electric Pencil Sharpener Model 17 replacement Nylon helical gear This fine 3D printed Nylon gear with improved design has 6mm wide face for better reliability and performance. Gear face is 20% wider compare to OEM and other replacements. It is made out of Nylon - tough and flexible plastic. Nylon is naturally slippery - no lubrication on gear teeth required. Only Nylons should be used for gears where a slippery surface is desired. All other materials (PLA, ABS, PET-G, etc.) will grind each other to dust and eventually fail.
