An Inconel 718 flat bar is offered for sale in the following dimensions:  1/2 x 3/4 x 24 inches.  The complete bar, 72 1/4 inches long, can be purchased for $465.  The bar will be cut with an abrasive water jet at 24 inches and the length shipped.  I had this tested at a local metallurgical laboratory and it was the Inconel 718 alloy.  You can see the high nickel content in the white metallic color.  The results show that this rod is within specifications.  Some properties of this alloy can be found here: www.hightempmetals.com/techdata/hitempInconel718data.php In my results, they use the symbol Nb to stand for niobium which is the same element as columbium in the "hightempmetals" description.    UNS 07718, superalloy, super alloy  There is no delivery in two days despite what eBay puts on the listing.  Handling time is three days.
