Up for auction is a Vintage Aluminum Male Mannequin Torso. This vintage mannequin is absolutely awesome! It would make a great art piece or I always thought it would be really stunning if it were electrified to be a lamp. It measures 34" to the bottom of the poles that support it. It measures 17" across the shoulders. The top of the neck is open. I do not have the base for it. The bottom of the support poles are threaded. It is VERY heavy and I believe that it is made of aluminum. Magnets don't stick to it. It needs a good polishing, I wasn't really sure what to use and didn't want to damage it. It does have some scratches and scrapes in various areas, but, I believe it would polish right up. Definitely a rare piece, I couldn't find anything like it anywhere online. I'm not sure of the age, but I'm fairly certain it's not modern, the support metal looks like it is aged. If I had to guess, I'd say it's probably from the 50's or 60's but I am not at all sure (if anyone has any ideas, feel free to let me know).
