This grade 1 door closer has heavy duty rack (Piston and Pinion) Gearing to increase its durability and is used for either commercial or residential applications. It is a multi-sized door closer with adjustable spring power, standard adjustable back-check and delayed action valves and a closing and latch speed which uses a dual valve system for greater accuracy in calibration. Highly durable, multi-use, above standard functions, accurate calibration, this grade 1 door closer provides lots of functionality for a reasonable price point. Universal installation: standard regular top jamb and parallel arm (Tri-pak). Closing and latch speed controlled by two separate regulating valves. Rack and pinion operation contained in a high tensile cast aluminum housing. Precision rack and (piston) pinion gear. High quality anti- freeze hydraulic fluid for lubricity and constant lubrication. Suited for exterior environment temperature - 22 F to 104 F. Full PVC cover standard.
