Industrial Ribbon mixer, batch mixer, blender 32x32 This is a carbon steel, skid mounted horizontal ribbon mixer with teflon wipers. Mixer is in excellent condition and was probably never used and is complete minus a drive motor. The discharge port is located on the end of the tank allowing the mixing action to assist in discharging the product. This mixer was originally part of a larger system and had a few extra parts installed like an air tank and heat exchanger which were removed so there are a few extra brackets and guards installed. Hopper has an opening of 32x32 with a calculated total volume 12 cu ft. Installing a motor and pulley to mate up to the existing gear reducer would be very easy due to the slotted motor mounting holes. There is a battery hold-down bracket so installing a engine is also a possibility and would make the unit more portable for mixing on job sites. Chamber and frame is constructed with carbon steel and the skid has forklift slots for safely moving it around. Overall condition is very good and clean with only very minor scratches. Just add an electric motor or gas engine and the unit is ready to mix.
