Industrial version of the CDV-700  model 3700 Geiger counter made for industrial use by Dosimeter Corp.. when the others were not available to anyone other than the government. This is a lot later version totally reengineered electronics with the same housing / enclosure as the CDV models it is way younger with silicone transistors more up to date components and adjustable high voltage as well as battery requirement, independent calibration adjustment for each decade, industrial taut band meter with zero adjustment on top and glass window / crystal. Function / decade selector OFF, X100, X10, and X1, Total range 0-50 mR/hr or 0-30,000 CPM., separate battery test button. With sound built in speaker and driver/amplifier requires 1 9Volt battery, Main instrument requires 2 D size batteries.  ON/OFF switch for sound. (VERY LOUD SOUND) Also included is a headset connector to stereo 1/8" standard headset / ear bud adaptor. The probe side window type sensitive to BETA, GAMMA, and X-RAY radiation with rotating BETA BLOCKING shield made by Dosimeter 1,200 CPM/mR/hr. Cs 137 and will give accurate mR/hr scale reading with shield closed and no stand off from source. Calibrated both pulse count and Cs 137. Everything shown in photos is included including new batteries both D and 9 Volt, and test source samples. ( except the sign.)
