All parts have been thoroughly researched and determined to be top quality. All of our welds are done in house by a well qualified welder using argon purged stainless steel welds. All units are thoroughly cleaned, assembled and pressure tested before they leave our facility to insure the product you receive will be ready to extract right out of the box. Uses Essential oil extraction refers to the process of solvent extraction, which uses solvents such as butane, to extract essential oils from plant material. The butane solvent will also extract chlorophyll, resulting in highly colored, thick, vicious oil. This essential oil is known as a concrete in the scientific world and will contain lipids and the odoriferous material from the plant. Compounds can be further isolated with a Bucher filter and alcohol, this final product is known as an Absolute. Uses for essential oil extraction includes perfumes or fragrances for soaps, lotions, household cleaners and candles. Aromatherapy, also referred to as Essential oil therapy, can be defined as the art and science of utilizing naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance and promote the holistic health of the body, mind and spirit. Essential oil is used extensively in the food and beverage industry as well. Essential oils have been used for thousands of years as in the medical and drug industry.
