Infinity IN-PI Custom Programmed Foot Control with PS/2 plug Infinity brand foot controls are known all across the transcription and dictation field. This foot control features wide, sloping pedals, which will enable you to easily move your foot between Play, Rewind, and Fast Forward. Infinity offers a wide variety of foot controls for anything from hands-free dictation to transcription. The Infinity brand IN-PI foot control works with virtually any system having a PS/2 keyboard port. The Infinity PI model is compatible with almost all versions of Windows (e.g. Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7, 8). Put simply, the IN-PI is a 3-button programmable keypad for your feet. No software is required to operate or program this macro based foot pedal. This foot pedal can mimic any key action or sequence your keyboard can perform. Each position can utilize up to 14 consecutive keystrokes. The IN-PI plugs into the keyboard port on your computer, while your keyboard plugs into a "Y-cable" provided. The IN-PI is ergonomically designed for minimal to no foot fatigue. Constructed of heavy duty components and fitted with precision micro switches, this unit will give you excellent service that will also last for a long time. To program the foot control, flip an internal switch, tap the pedal you want to program, and press the keys you want on your keyboard. Then flip the switch back to the "play" position.
