Manufacturer description (may be different from the actual unit sold based on options installed): INO FAF-50 Benchtop Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier The FAF and FAD are custom optical fiber amplifiers offering low noise figure, high gain and output power within the 1550 nm wavelength spectral region. The Erbium-Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA) modules include one or two 980 nm pump lasers with thermo-electric cooler, input and output isolators and a confined erbium-doped fiber for high performance. The FAF model offers a typical gain of 32 dB, noise figure of 4.5 dB and saturated output power of 16 dBm. The FAD model offers a typical gain of 40 dB, noise figure of 4.0 dB and saturated output power of 18 dBm. Shipping We ship via UPS ground.
