This auction is for a set of 2 Instron Pneumatic Tensile Tester Grip Heads. 1 is Pneumatic, and the larger heavy duty one is manual. I believe the pneumatic grip is Instron p/n 2712-003 or equivalent 2712-041 I applied compressed air to the pneumatic one, and it has a nice clamping force. The manual one is steel and weighs 8lbs, the other is aluminum and weighs about 3lbs. Please ask if you have any questions. Buyer to pay shipping.  Thanks for looking! Instron Series 2712 and 2732 pneumatic action grips are designed for material testing applications where specimens are difficult to hold in conventional screwaction grips. Pneumatic action grips allow rapid, easy loading of specimens from delicate films to polymers and woven fabrics. This provides a very simple and efficient method for securing test specimens easily and quickly. The pneumatic action of these grips let you accurately control the gripping force on the specimen with a minimum but constant force.
