Model #A108AI - Insulated Adit Cap is a pull-down attic stair with an industrial strength zipper enclosure system which provides R-10 continuous insulation with a fully sealed envelope when properly installed. Just unzip the lid to access your attic.     Sides are constructed with high-density closed cell polyethylene foam with high grade aluminum laminated on both sides. The Adit Cap features a 3.25" layer of Knauf fiberglass insulation encapsulated in scrim reinforced aluminum and features Ecose technology.  The fiberglass is GREENGUARD certified made with a high percentage of post-consumer recycled glass; and renewable, bio-based, inert binder technology.   Installed dimensions:24" x 9" x 54" (Fits most standard stair sizes) Cell Structure: Closed Foam Density: 1.25-1.87lb/ft Thickness: 5mm, 3" on Top R-Value: R-10; ASTM C528Tested Fiberglass Combustibility - Noncombustible; ASTM E136 Tested Compliance: NAIMA Std 202-96, Energy Star, 2009 IECC Warranty: 1 year from date of installation
